Tarboy T Shirts - Help us choose a design!

It's been a while posting because we've been hard at work getting the music of Tarboy ready for release. We've also been getting some designs together to start printing Tarboy t-shirts!

We can only run with 2 designs (3 max) so we just want to gauge which of these designs are the most popular. Could you please view all of the designs in larger detail here and let us know which one or two would make the best shirt? If you don't like any, let us know why :)

In case anyone's wondering, there will be women's shirts as well. :)

Personally id prefer something with your avatar design on it. however, il have tarboy on black otherwise.

Small tarboy on black would have to be the best design there. Next would be the insect imho, but as it is now, I think it needs MORE, it lacks the flair and personality of the small tarboy.

I'd say Insect On Black is the only one I'd buy given the choice out the lot.
Whilst the slaves are certainly Tarboy style, they weren't shown in such manner within the toon, so no-one would recognise they where they were from.

And I don't like the Tarboy on black. Especially the large Tarboy verison. I don't think it does the character justice in terms of how kick-arse he is (he looks tame) and the pose is actually a tad pretentious. If it was the snarling Tarboy like your main avatar, perhaps on a red shirt or a black shirt but with blotches of red, that'll be a lot cooler looking.

If you're taking suggestions at all, what about the Tarboy logo on the front with a the Tarboy bubble on the back, like on the shoulder or something.

Thanks Eddache, I'm taking the points you made into consideration for a couple of new designs. I'll try to work my avatar graphic into a workable shirt design, a couple of people of other people have mentioned it so far too :)

I quite liked the large tarboy on black, but thought it would look better higher up on the shirt and with his mouth showing.

I definitely don't care for shirts with a lot of things on it... simplicity often sells the best!

I think I like the red on black one the most, but I would maybe change up the symbol, have one with tarboy's full body, and maybe show a subtle emotion (like in your userpic) I hope that helps a bit!

6 - Large Tarboy on Black.
Like it more than an black Tarboy on white, cause' the colours break more nice with a white tarboy. but I guess people would like him black on the shirt, but not me.
Great work on the designs anyways.

Out of the choices presented, I'd have to say small Tarboy and insect. Large Tarboy needs a little something more. And I think having Tarboy in some sort of action pose on a shirt might help. Also, just an idea, maybe if you had a shirt with the janitor robot on it, with that open-mouthed expression on his face. That could be interesting. Having read the other reviews, I agree with the idea of having your avatar on a shirt. That would be really sick. Good job with everything, man. Good luck.

1 Large tarboy
2 Small tarboy
(try some color on tarboys on black)
3 Multiple slaves (on black)

I was just going through the animation and Perhaps incorperating one of the 'bosses' or 'ceos' or what ever they are onto a shirt for exmaple.

Onto a light blue shot sleve.
But out of those choices, i would go with large white tarboy and single slave on Olive.

im more into caps but if i had too i would pick number 7 (insect on black) or tarboy on black...hay give me a call if you guys start makeing caps...

i personally like the small tarboy one, but even big tarboy is pretty cool, simple but sweet :D

Multiple slaves on olive. I must admit I dont like the tarboy design (or pose).
He looks like some sort of elf with a strange haircut holding rather an infeminate pose. (im sorry but thats the feeling I get) The slaves do more justice to your excellent animation and leave the viewer (of tshirt) with some questions that need answering.

I definitely agree with everyone who suggested you avatar design for a T-shirt, that would look incredible and I'd definitely buy one of those. I'd also love to see a shirt with either the robots from around the water cooler, the robots that fight Tarboy following the water cooler scene or Grandpa holding the jar of Tar.

All that failing, I'd probably get Tarboy small on black.

Definately number five, but maybe you can add a detailed background that surrounds Tarboy, or at least give him a nice glow.
